On Mac OS X execute the following command $.Then go to the apache-tomee-plume directory using this command $ cd. On Mac OS X navigate to or search for the “Terminal” and open that.Open up a command line prompt and navigate into the apache-tomee-plume directory. When I did that, thinking it would make things simpler, the command to start TomEE would not work.
WARNING: Don’t rename the TomEE directory. You should now have a directory with a name like “apache-tomee-plume-” on your desktop.
